The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Production Chemist to join our experienced team. In this role, you will contribute to the preparation, formulation, and packaging of our unique gold and silver nanoparticle products. You will gain valuable experience in chemical synthesis, quality control (ISO:9001), and production scheduling.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the production, packaging, and despatch of our cosmetics products.
- Prepare and formulate bespoke samples and new product development.
- Characterize and analyze nanoparticle batches and maintain accurate batch records.
- Ensure production needs are consistently met and support continuous scale-up optimization.
- Assist product development and prototyping, ensuring quality control and compliance with international standards (ISO:9001:2015).
- Communicate progress and achievements through detailed reports and presentations, engaging with stakeholders across various platforms.
- Advanced degrees (BSc/BEng, Masters) in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science and related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience (academic or professional) in a chemical workspace.
- Compliance with health and safety practices in the workplace.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, GAMS, Excel, and other related data analysis tools.
- Project management and budgeting skills are essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a growth mindset.
- A competitive base salary of £25k - £30k, dependent on experience, with a performance-based structure.
