Dental Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental nurse to join our team at Ashbourne Healthcare Services in Central London. As a dental nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists with various dental procedures, including implants, general dentistry, and other treatments.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Take and develop dental x-rays, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide chairside assistance to dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care, promoting excellent patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records, adhering to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Valid GDC registration and certification as a dental nurse.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
  • Proficient in taking vital signs and recording medical information accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
