We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of construction work on a retail refurbishment project in the North East of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of trades staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, and providing detailed reports on work carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise shifts to ensure project timelines are met
  • Oversee health and safety protocols on-site
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site personnel
  • Report project progress to the main contractor
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the refurbishment

Requirements:

  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Black or Gold
  • First Aid Aid at Work certification
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Fire Marshall

Benefits:

  • Competitive rate of pay: £250 - £270 per shift
