About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated dentist to join our dynamic Special Care Dental Service at Solent NHS Trust. As a Senior Dental Officer, you will play a key role in delivering routine and urgent dental care to patients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake thorough examinations of patients and provide dental care assessments.
- Plan and manage treatment for patients with complex medical co-morbidities or requiring specialized care.
- Provide emergency treatment for patients requiring Special Care Dentistry and Specialist Occasional Care.
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to identify and manage medical emergencies.

Person Specification
- Current full registration as a Dental Surgeon with the General Dental Council.

- Commitment to continuous professional development and currency within GDC requirements.
