Job Title: Senior SharePoint Administrator

Nigel Wright Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Administrator to join their IT team. This role will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting our SharePoint environment to ensure smooth operation and collaboration across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, governance, and site collection administration. They should also have experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint management and familiarity with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive integrations.

Responsibilities include:
* Administering and maintaining the company's SharePoint environment (on-premise, online, or hybrid).
* Monitoring and troubleshooting SharePoint services to ensure high availability and performance.
* Managing SharePoint site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows.
* Customizing SharePoint sites based on user requirements and ensuring a user-friendly experience.
* Implementing security best practices and managing permissions for SharePoint users and groups.
* Assisting with SharePoint migrations, upgrades, and patch management.
* Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training to users.
* Working with stakeholders to identify business needs and design SharePoint solutions to optimize workflows.
* Staying updated on the latest SharePoint features, updates, and industry trends.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator, with expertise in SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, or hybrid environments.
* Strong understanding of SharePoint security, permissions, and compliance policies.
* Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and processes.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Yammer, and other Microsoft products.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
