Job Title: Graduate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary Schools

We are seeking passionate Graduate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team in secondary schools across Basingstoke. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain valuable experience while making a real difference in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing tailored academic and pastoral support to students
  • Support students of varying abilities, ensuring their active participation in lessons and helping them reach their full potential
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment, working closely with teachers to provide interventions and assist with the daily running of the classroom
  • Develop your skills in education, gaining hands-on experience in a school setting and contributing to the development of students' academic and personal growth

Position Details:

  • Full-time or part-time roles based on your availability, ideal for graduates looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching or education

Requirements:

  • Graduates with a passion for education and a desire to work with young people, with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and manage students in a classroom environment
  • UK residents only, with a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required for this role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
