About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our friendly reception and care navigation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily face-to-face and telephone contact with patients, working closely with our admin and healthcare team of over forty people.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves:
- Offering care navigation to patients, obtaining information to arrange the most appropriate care.
- Completing prescription requests.
- General office administration, processing tasks from clinical staff, scanning letters, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible and adaptable, confident in computer use, and passionate about helping and supporting patients.

Qualifications
No additional essential qualifications are required.
Experience
Previous experience working within a GP practice or the NHS is desirable but not essential, as we provide a robust training plan for all staff.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy regular breaks, fresh snacks, and a range of beverages in our calm room. Our team organizes social events both in and out of work, promoting team wellbeing and morale.
