At GXO Logistics, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance and logistics, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated at up to £27,070 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and the option to buy additional days to achieve a positive work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities

As a Finance Assistant at GXO Logistics, Inc., your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing the weekly procurement process in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner, while ensuring cost consciousness at all times.
  • Applying the correct P&L coding and receipt of goods to ensure accurate month-end results, resolving any queries promptly.
  • Producing clear and accurate weekly results and accounts for the client and internal customers, providing insightful analysis of data to the operation.
  • Promoting a continuous improvement culture within the team and collaborating with relevant parties to enhance processes that impact the department.
Requirements

To succeed as a Finance Assistant at GXO Logistics, Inc., you should have:

  • Experience in a similar finance assistant role, with benefits from experience in logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to effectively communicate results to the operation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with creativity to develop new files for analysis and reporting.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent, or willingness to pursue further studies.
