We are currently representing a talented, award-winning practice based in the UK that are actively seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team.

This is an excellent career opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to build and develop their career further within an inspiring, well-established practice.

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will be working on a wide range of exciting projects across various sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, and Education.

Key sectors include Industrial, Commercial, and Education, with occasional work in Residential, Healthcare, and Heritage sectors.

Projects will vary from small alterations to large multi-million-pound developments, involving the creation of planning drawings, technical detailing, and liaison with authorities.

This position requires someone with 3+ years' experience within the industry, with a strong technical detailing ability, good knowledge of Revit, and excellent communication skills.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will work independently and as part of a team, administering contracts, project certifications, and appraising the performance of buildings in use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce a wide range of drawing packages
  • Work on various developments within the Industrial, Commercial, and Education sectors
  • Work with Revit on a daily basis
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Create building regulation drawings and technical detailing
  • Liaise with authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval
  • Carry out design-stage risk assessments
  • Administer contracts and project certifications
  • Appraise the performance of buildings in use and produce maintenance management information

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
  • Experience working in a team
  • Good knowledge of Revit or any BIM software & open to being trained in Revit
  • Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • High technical detailing ability
  • Thorough knowledge of Building Regulations
  • Live within a commutable distance of Kettering
