Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant in our Plymouth office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in processing accounts, maintaining bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, and supporting clients with tax returns and audit work.
- As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, while also providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Processing accounts for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Maintaining weekly/monthly bookkeeping for clients.
- Preparing monthly management accounts for clients.
- Preparation of Tax returns.
- Possibility of some audit work.
- Supporting the team with work and projects as required.
- Aid less experienced team members by motivating and developing them by providing training and support.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- AAT Qualified, qualified by experience, and/or currently studying ACA.
- 3 years+ varied accountancy practice experience.
