Payroll Operations Manager Role

A high-calibre payroll professional is sought to lead the day-to-day operations of Gallagher's UK and EMEA payroll team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional payroll services, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
About the Role
This role involves overseeing the processing of payroll, administering pensions and benefits, and handling all other payroll-related requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR teams and auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage team performance and productivity
- Oversee the implementation of new payroll administration systems
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection policies
- Administer company benefits, including childcare vouchers and season tickets
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in payroll management
- Strong knowledge of UK and EMEA payroll regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include 25 days' holiday, a defined contribution pension scheme, life insurance, and income protection.
