Job Title: Consultant Practitioner

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills. As a Consultant Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring effective senior clinical leadership and clinical excellence within the organization's delivery of urgent and emergency care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the organization's urgent and emergency care services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Trust management teams to ensure clinically effective delivery of care to all patients presenting to the organization.
  • Act as an advocate for the profession and its ability to provide high-quality clinical care for all patient groups.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a professionally related subject, and/or equivalent significant experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.
  • Post graduate teaching qualification, or experience of providing education at this level in health care.
  • Good use of available information sources to enable efficient and effective planning.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders, in written and verbal forms, to ensure you can lead the direction of travel.
  • Ability to translate strategic plans into effective and achievable operational plans, and capable of monitoring their progress and outcomes.
