The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also have a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care and a passion for developing your skills and knowledge in a community nursing setting.
We offer a comprehensive training program, including university course dates and practice placement days, to support your development as a Specialist Community Practitioner. You will also have access to our in-house training and development programs, career progression opportunities, and a supportive culture that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work towards gaining the standards of proficiency for entry to the NMC register/recordable for Specialist Community Practitioner, District Nurse.
- To develop knowledge, skills and competencies to take on the role of a qualified Specialist Community Practitioner within the Neighbourhood nursing service.
- To gain the knowledge, skills and competence required in order to exercise higher levels of judgment, discretion and decision making in clinical care focusing on four broad areas:
- Clinical practice
