About this role:

As a Windsor Great Park Ambassador, you will provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and connecting with visitors to ensure they get the most out of their visit to Windsor Great Park.

Key responsibilities:

  • Offer a warm and engaging welcome to visitors;
  • Ensure visitor facilities are an inviting and safe place for our visitors, reporting any issues and conducting regular checks;
  • Provide accurate information about Windsor Great Park and share your knowledge to enable visitors to enjoy their visit;
  • Promote the Savill Garden and encourage visitors to purchase tickets;
  • Promote membership and communicate the benefits and value of the scheme to visitors;
  • Process transactions efficiently and professionally;
  • Support the team to maintain stock levels, display, and availability;
  • Offer customer advice and maximize sales opportunities;
  • Welcome group visitors and provide information to boarding coaches;
  • Liaise with the catering team to ensure a positive catering experience;
  • Respond to customer complaints and seek support when necessary;
  • Conduct all duties in a professional and safe manner, adhering to risk assessments and health and safety procedures;
  • Contribute to improvements in customer service, membership, retail, and catering sales or visitor operations;
  • Proactively manage queues for visitor facilities and assist with additional duties to support events and special promotions.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiasm for Windsor Great Park and its history;
  • Highly customer-oriented with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy;
  • Excellent communication skills, confident, friendly, and approachable;
  • Calm and assertive;
  • Flexible and versatile approach to provide support wherever needed;
  • First Aid training (training will be provided);
  • A team player;
  • Basic IT skills;
  • Proven track record in a customer-centric environment;
  • Proven experience in a public-facing role, resolving concerns positively;
  • Previous involvement in admissions/ticket sales is desirable, but full training will be provided.

What we offer:

This is a casual position, but will likely be 16-24 hours per week, all year round, including weekends. We are a proud disability confident employer and operate the offer of interview scheme.
