Madisons Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled and ambitious Contracts Manager to join their team in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing contracts within the residential housing sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring each contract is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required standard of quality. This includes developing effective working relationships with clients and consultants, promoting personal development within the team, and commercial awareness to maximise profitability.

As a key member of the team, the Contracts Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Managing budgets and inputting into cost reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and internal management systems
  • Delivering project programmes and phasing presentations to clients
  • Appointing suitable site management staff through effective recruitment and selection processes

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Contracts Manager or Site Manager with a residential house builder
  • Effective team management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation
  • CSCS card and SMSTS certificate
  • First Aid certificate and Construction Management qualification (HNC Level 4 or HND desirable)
