About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our Government team at Viasat. This is a critical tactical role that will provide input into the marketing direction of our aeronautical campaign and ensure the successful planning and implementation of associated activities and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and collate all marketing plans and campaigns to support sales of our aeronautical solutions package to both B2B and B2C audiences, including allocation and management of budgets and return on investment tracking.
  2. Work closely with the sales, business development, and strategic programme teams to establish a campaign plan that fulfills the business units' objectives and priorities across the aeronautical sectors in all geographies.
  3. Develop, establish, and maintain a compelling product set, brand, value proposition, and internal toolkit to highlight advantages, benefits, brand identity, market positioning, and messaging.
  4. Develop marketing lead generation campaigns based on our current capture business plan.
  5. Establish and maintain a compelling online, social media, video, and print image plan for the aero programme to leverage lead generation and go-to-market campaigns.
  6. Liaise internally with different corporate marketing areas/teams, such as creative, digital, brand, events, internal, and external communications, as well as our operational teams to manage and ensure all content and collateral requests from team members are delivered on brand, on time, and on budget.
  7. Support the development of all marketing material, collateral, for our new product based on key positioning and external messaging; including sales presentations, visual graphics, website, brochure, whitepaper, case studies, articles, blogs, and PR content; digital/online sales enablement tool.
  8. Support possible training sessions internally and externally to partners and collaborators.
  9. Generate social media plans and campaigns to increase brand/product awareness and followers, manage these platforms, content, and reporting.
  10. Foster and support strategic partnerships and collaboration with sector partners and industry outreach.
  11. Support demonstrations and create marketing material with results recorded.

About You

We are looking for someone passionate about marketing and branding, with a strong background in B2B marketing and experience working in a corporate marketing environment. You should have experience working on global external and internal marketing activity, as well as digital marketing, marketing automation, and CRM software. Strong writing skills and experience with creation tools such as Adobe suite are also advantageous.
