The Investor Forum CIC is a dynamic organisation seeking an experienced and highly organised assistant to support our team. This role will involve managing events, maintaining databases, and providing general office administration.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £41,400 per annum, comprising a pro rata salary of £36,000 and a cash allowance of £5,400 in lieu of benefits. In addition, you will receive 23 days paid annual holiday and a discretionary bonus.

Job Description

This hybrid role will see you working from both our central-London office and home, with a mix of time spent in each location. As an assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Organising in-person and online events, including managing attendee lists and liaising with venues on catering and technical needs;
  • Maintaining our company CRM (Salesforce) by managing contacts, creating reports, and ensuring weekly data backups;
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations, publications, and template documents, ensuring format and brand consistency;
  • Providing general office administration, including liaising with suppliers and third parties and overseeing the physical environment;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong IT skills in Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams;
  • A good understanding of SharePoint and experience with database management and use of CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite;
  • Experience with WordPress and familiarity with accounting software, such as Xero;
  • Flexibility to work equivalent to four days per week;
Location and Working Arrangements

This role is based in London, but you will have the opportunity to work from home some of the time. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
