Medical Education Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Education Lead to join our team at Imperial College London. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing innovative educational programs for our undergraduate students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Phase 1c MICA placement program
  • Create and deliver high-quality teaching materials and resources
  • Work closely with GP practices and our Faculty Development Team to ensure effective recruitment and quality assurance
  • Develop and evaluate assessments for students, including the Community Action Project
  • Liaise with the Faculty Education Office (FEO) on student-related issues
  • Collaborate with the Phase 1c team to integrate MICA effectively within the Phase 1c teaching program
  • Oversee MICA placement evaluation projects
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve program goals
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice or equivalent
  • A postgraduate qualification in Medical Education
  • Significant experience within medical education
  • Demonstrable leadership experience
  • Evidence of scholarly activity, including research, applied critical reasoning, conference presentation, and peer-reviewed publication
