Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

Description: Expert Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Magherafelt. As a Permanent position, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to work with one of Northern Ireland's top-tier companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the contractual and financial elements of construction projects while achieving standards and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess material, labour and equipment requirements
• Correspond with various parties for purposes of obtaining quotes
• Undertake cost analysis
• Assess contracts for potential risks / liabilities
• Work with HML contracts delivery Teams to mitigate risks
• Procure materials, services, labour, equipment etc
• Control costs during construction process
• Liaise with sub-contractors, agreeing work plan and conditions
• Value interim and completed work and arrange payments
• Value change, assess claims and agree final accounts
• Prepare regular costing reports
• Plan and organise work efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Work in accordance with company IMS standards
• Highlight cost anomalies
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, site management involved in the project
• Liaise with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings and keeping them informed of progress
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training

Essential Criteria:
• At least 5 years experience with minimum 3 years in main contractor role
• Excellent communicator
• Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and site teams
• Good Negotiation Skills
• Experience of working with JCT & NEC Contracts
• Strong IT skills and working experience on a range of IT packages
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Current valid UK driving licence

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
