Cineworld Cinemas Ltd is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work at our cinemas on weekends. This role involves welcoming and serving visitors, delivering excellent customer service, and promoting sales of cinema tickets and memberships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, manage queues efficiently, and have up-to-date product knowledge to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
  • Guide customers to their seats, verify tickets, and respond promptly to customer complaints.
  • Be knowledgeable about our services and facilities, and communicate clearly with customers.
  • Provide information on film start and finish times, synopsis, and classification, and enforce film classifications and identification procedures.
  • Monitor screens for technical issues and customer disturbance, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all.
  • Promoting Sales: Be knowledgeable about current promotions, raise customer awareness, and promote Membership through personal recommendations and upcoming films.
  • Ensure sales accuracy, process transactions, memberships, and discounts correctly, and promote sales through organised displays.
  • Adhere to wastage procedures and suggest suitable additional products to customers.
  • Health & Safety: Follow Food Hygiene Regulations and Health & Safety Policies, work efficiently with equipment, and inform management immediately of any breaches or issues.
  • Help monitor maintenance or repairs, open and close areas, and undertake daily cinema cleaning, including front of house and back of house areas.
  • Keep informed about business changes and adhere to all current policies and procedures.

Person Specification:

  • A passion for excellent customer service.
  • Confident communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing circumstances.
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability to work at key business times, including evenings and weekends.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Experience in a service-related industry.
  • An interest in and knowledge of film and our programming strands.

Estimated Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
