Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management at our client's site.
Key Responsibilities:- High-level cleaning, including scrubbing and polishing floors, walls, and surfaces
- Operating company site vehicles, such as tugs, vans, and forklifts
- Deep cleaning of washrooms, including restocking and sanitizing facilities
- Periodic cleaning of stone flooring, using specialized equipment and techniques
- Light maintenance, including minor repairs and replacements
- Waste management, including sorting, collecting, and disposing of waste
- Window cleaning, using ladders, squeegees, and other equipment
- Operating scrubber driers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment
- Jet washing, using high-pressure hoses and cleaning solutions
- Proven track record in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong communication skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
- Able to work within a team, with a proactive and flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail, with ability to identify and report any issues or concerns
- Ability to work under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor
- Driving Licence is essential
- Forklift Counterbalance certificate would be beneficial
- IPAF certificate would be beneficial
