Job Overview

Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team, working with a leading property developer based in London and the home counties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to work on high-end residential projects, utilizing their expertise in project management, cost control, and construction administration.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting. They will also be involved in contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills.


Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a quantity surveyor in a similar industry
  • Strong understanding of construction law, contracts, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
