Digital Literacy Specialist

We are seeking a Digital Literacy Specialist to join our team at Academics in Liverpool.
The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification and specialize in Computer Science or a related subject.
Estimated salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.

The Digital Literacy Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing our computer science curriculum, ensuring students acquire essential digital skills to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Literacy Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering engaging computer science lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Designing individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the specific needs of each student.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Specialization in Computer Science or a related subject.
- Experience working with students who require additional support or willingness to work in this setting.
