Key Responsibilities:
Nutreco is seeking a highly skilled Raw Material & Logistics Manager to lead the forecasting, contracting, and planning of raw material deliveries to our facilities within the Trouw Nutrition USA-Companion Animal business unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Material Planners and inbound/outbound Transportation Buyers, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors, and addressing any issues related to delivery delays or disruptions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
- 2-4 years of raw material experience in sourcing, supply chain management, or logistics, preferably in the companion animal, livestock, or aquaculture industries
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate and analyze key vendor performance indicators
- Experience with ERP or SAP software, and intermediate user skills in MS Office
