Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - High Spec Residential New BuildWe are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CSC Recruitment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing high-value, luxury residential projects.
Job Summary:The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed cost plans and estimates from inception through to project completion. They will also monitor and control project expenditure to ensure costs remain within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates from inception through to project completion.
- Monitor and control project expenditure to ensure costs remain within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality services.
- Administer contract changes and manage variations to ensure project objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage any disputes or claims effectively.
- Conduct regular valuations of ongoing work, assess the value of completed work, and issue payment certificates.
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor and supplier payments.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare contingency plans to address any unforeseen issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all project costs, variations, and contractual changes.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts.

Requirements:- BSc Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
