Main duties:

  • Diagnose and treat dental and facial irregularities using various orthodontic techniques.
  • Develop treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs and goals.
  • Install and adjust orthodontic appliances, such as braces, retainers, and aligners.
  • Monitor the progress of treatment and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide instructions for care of orthodontic appliances.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • GDC registered.
  • On the specialist register or completing training and admissible onto the specialist register.
