About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Timetable Manager to join our team at Cranfield University. As a specialist postgraduate university, we are creating leaders in technology and management globally.

This role is an opportunity to join the team at an early stage and lead on timetable strategy and delivery for MK:U, working closely across the academic and operational teams to co-ordinate MK:U's growing education portfolio.

The successful candidate will have previous timetabling experience and must have expertise in using Excel and working with large data sets. They will have an eye for accuracy and for spotting anomalous results/errors and possible clashes well before they occur.

The role requires the ability to work within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, along with the interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to convey detailed information in a clear and concise format.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification and experience of timetabling and/or of business process improvement. They will be able to demonstrate their resilience and ability to adapt to changes in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and co-ordinate the timetable for MK:U's education portfolio
  • Work closely with academic and operational teams to ensure effective timetabling
  • Use Excel and other tools to manage large data sets and identify trends
  • Communicate effectively with senior managers and other stakeholders
