Role: Cocktail Bartender

Remuneration package: £15.00 per hour (TRONC included)

Hourly contract: estimated 30-40 hours per week, based on a 5-day schedule. Flexible rotas to work around your commitments and needs

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic bartender with a passion for delivering exceptional service to our residents and members in our beautiful resident cocktail bar, The Owl & Monkey. This individual should have a strong background in mixology and cocktail creations, with a focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology.

About You

  • Ability to challenge the status quo with an instinct for delivering the ultimate experience, especially under pressure
  • Good employment history and experience in restaurant and bar environments
  • Ability to entertain and engage with residents/members while serving drinks
  • Keen interest in hospitality, good product knowledge about spirits and classic cocktails, a desire to learn and develop with us
  • Great command of English, both verbally and written
  • Passionate and hard-working attitude, with a desire to make The Other House team proud
  • Ability to retain information
  • Ability to share and follow The Other House values
  • Ability to combine honesty, integrity, and reliability with a positive attitude
  • Ability to find solutions to and overcome challenging situations in The Other House manner with professionalism
  • Experience with a POS system
  • Approachable, professional attitude with an eye for attention to detail
  • Ability to be constantly vigilant for opportunities to upsell and increase revenue for The Other House
  • A cheeky and confident character, someone who will get on with everyone
