We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Children's Champion in the Brecon Cluster. This exciting opportunity is part of a grant-funded project, and the successful candidate will be based out of Ysgol Golwg Pen y Fan.
Key Responsibilities:- Raise awareness of Service children's needs and provide personalized support to ensure their well-being and success.
- Build relationships with Service children, families, and staff to create a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Work closely with Armed Forces agencies, such as Little Troopers, SSCE Cymru, and the Army Engagement Team, to ensure a comprehensive support network for Service children.
- Provide additional learning needs support and targeted assistance to Service children as they transition in and out of our schools.
- Advocate for Service children's needs and interests, promoting their unique experiences and challenges.
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including Service children, families, and staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
