At OSE European Ltd, we are a busy transport & logistics company based in Gateshead, established in 2001, specialising in time critical transport to the UK and Europe.
We are looking to expand, and are seeking a highly driven and committed Client Account Executive to become an integral member of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Create new business opportunities through compelling telephone conversations with existing and lapsed customer base
- Deal with customer enquiries and quotations via email and telephone throughout the day
- Deliver ongoing service updates to clients to ensure the best possible customer experience
- Deal directly with both our own drivers and subcontractors
- Seek and agree appointment bookings to discuss our services and opportunities within the client's business
- Develop valued relationships through daily telephone contact with newly acquired and existing clients
- Manage a territory of client accounts, driving business value and revenue opportunities
- Successfully work to and deliver against agreed sales targets
- Utilise the company sales tools and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to plan, conduct calls and accurately record all opportunities in line with sales objectives
- Effectively use the CRM to access customer history, create pricing and inform discussions with the clients
- The role is office based, currently in Gateshead, with an occasional requirement to attend offsite customer meetings with Senior members of the sales team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly driven, results orientated with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Desire to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with people at all levels of an organisation
- Confidence to work on own initiative to create sales pipeline opportunities
- Be fully conversant with MS Office tools
- Previous experience in a telephone or account management
- Experience in logistics / transport related industry
- Experience using Sales and CRM systems
