Anatomy Suite Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Anatomy Suite Manager to join our team at St George's University of London.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the operation of the multi-disciplinary anatomical section, ensuring that the facility is fit for purpose and compliant with the Human Tissue Act and health and safety legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage members of the technical, prosector and administrative team
- Work closely with the head of section and academic module leaders of the courses
- Ensure the preparation, maintenance and management of practical teaching materials necessary for delivery within the section
- Oversee the use of cadaveric resources, prepared using formalin and soft fix approaches, supported by potted pathological specimens, anatomical models and audio-visual equipment
The ideal candidate will hold a first degree in an anatomically related subject, have proven experience of management within an Anatomy/Teaching facility, and have working knowledge and experience of implementation of HTA Codes of Standards and Practice and regulatory procedures.
