Job Title: Building Surveyor Contract Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Catapult Solutions Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing support in the areas of budget preparation, procurement, cost control, change management, project administration, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake predominately post-contract commercial management, including procurement, cost control, sub-contract change-management, and administration, and project monitoring.
  • Assist in pre-contract cost planning and estimating functions.
  • Identify, assess, and manage the commercial risks of projects.
  • Prepare monthly cost forecast reports on the commercial health of assigned projects.
  • Research labor, materials, and equipment pricing and make cost-effective recommendations for assigned projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience, including project experience in the development and construction of large mixed-use hospitality or commercial projects, some of which should have been valued in excess of US $100 million within a well-reputed construction or development organization.
  • Experience in PMWeb, On-Screen Take-Off, and/or CostX estimating software is preferred.
  • Excellent mathematical, planning, analytical, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the larger commercial/project team.
  • Excellent computer skills required for analyzing and monitoring commercial activities.
