This is a 37 hour a week job, based at the Gloucester office. The successful candidate will be required to work Mon-Thurs pm and Fri pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
The Role:- Regularly update the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to existing customers to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of competitors and identify new business opportunities.
- Generate revenue by selling products or services to potential customers through phone, email, or other virtual channels.
- Identify and qualify leads to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations to engage and persuade customers.
- Negotiate deals and close sales to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to develop strategies and achieve sales objectives.
- Identify and quantify business sectors for internet service providers, utilities, government/defence, and direct and indirect sales, including system integrators.
- Search for potential market areas for telecom opportunities.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote products and the business.
- Build relationships and stay up-to-date with new products and technologies.
- Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them, presenting sales information to the Senior Management Team.
- Enthusiastic and engaging with a proactive and ambitious approach to sales.
- Proven track record of working in sales with a creative and strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, with a strong work ethic.
- Customer service experience and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and strive for continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Strong desire to understand the company's products and competition in the industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Technical skills to understand and propose products and solutions, focusing on the client's requirements.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
Basic salary £28,000+ per annum, depending on applicant experience.
20 days Annual leave (plus Bank Holidays) plus one day Birthday Leave.
Pension scheme auto enrolment after three months.
