Senior Audit Manager Job Opportunity
We are supporting an independent firm of accountants in Leicester with their recruitment and succession planning on a retained basis. This has led to an excellent opportunity for a Senior Audit Manager to join their team, with a reward of up to £100k per annum.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the high-level provision of audit services for a large and loyal client portfolio. Many of these clients have turnovers in the billions, making this a challenging and rewarding role.
The ideal candidate will be a personable character with excellent communication skills, able to work with clients and staff at all levels. They will also have the potential to progress to upper echelons of the firm's organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the planning and completion of large complex audits.
- Acting as the first point of contact for a diverse client portfolio.
- Undertaking both pre- and post-audit meetings.
- Managing a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
- Overseeing and managing the workflow of the audit team.
- Liaising with clients and managing client expectations.
- Supervising and reviewing staff work, providing input before submission.
- Reporting directly to the Audit Partners and attending client meetings.
- Streamlining processes and procedures.
- Attending and contributing to practice development initiatives.

Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
