Care and Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at Hilltop House, Bury St Edmunds. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical disabilities to maximise their potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to encourage customers to achieve their goals and live independently
- Key work with individuals to develop and implement care plans
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Deliver high-quality, personalised care and support services, including personal care and medication management
- Support customers to engage in activities and outings, promoting social inclusion and community participation
- Promote a positive culture by engaging with customers and preventing social isolation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
- Promote safe practices and undertake risk assessments
- Prior experience in delivering personal care is desirable
- A kind and caring nature, with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of customers
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards, is desirable
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.67
