About the Opportunity
Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to fill a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner position in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the provision of high-quality care to young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide specialist mental health services to children and adolescents, working closely with families, schools, and other professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- To conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and case management, using evidence-based approaches to support improved outcomes.
- To maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, adhering to NMC guidelines and safeguarding policies.
- To participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and improve service delivery.
Requirements:
- Current and valid registration with the NMC as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Proven experience in working within CAMHS, ideally in a community setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a strong commitment to improving young people's mental health and well-being.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
