Job Title: Registered Manager - EBD Children's Service

Kingston Noble is seeking a highly experienced leader to lead a 3-bedded EBD children's service in Northampton. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality service that supports vulnerable children, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and build brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strong leadership and direction for the service, ensuring high standards of care and support for children with EBD.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Ofsted standards.
  3. Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
  4. Manage, mentor, and support a team of staff, ensuring ongoing professional development and creating a positive, nurturing environment.
  5. Ensure the service operates within budget, with responsibility for financial management and resource allocation.
  6. Take a hands-on approach to safeguarding, risk management, and the well-being of the young people in your care.
  7. Build strong relationships with external agencies, parents, and stakeholders to provide holistic support for the children.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a leadership role within children's residential care, ideally within an EBD setting.
  2. NVQ Level 3 OR 4 needed (Ideally have Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or willing to work towards).
  3. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and child protection policies.
  4. A passion for improving the lives of children with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
