About the Role

Caval Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic MEPH Manager to lead the MEPH packages on a £30m new build hospital extension in South West London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects
  • Supervise and manage project timelines to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Monitor project budgets and adjust resources to stay within financial limits
  • Maintaining relationships with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and vendors
  • Liaise with stakeholders and sub-contractors, addressing concerns where necessary
  • Communicate updates on project milestones and any issues or delays that may arise
  • Assist the smooth handover of completed MEP systems to clients upon project completion
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the planning, design, and construction phases
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with MEP installations and construction projects
  • Ensure that all MEPH systems comply with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards
  • Review designs and specifications to ensure that MEPH systems are aligned with project goals and requirements
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that MEPH systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards and best practices
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure team members are knowledgeable about the latest MEPH technologies and safety practices

Requirements
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong history of working as a MEPH Manager, or in a similar position, on new build projects in the healthcare sector with values in excess of £10m
  • Quality assurance & inspection
  • Effective time management capabilities
  • Extensive leadership and team management
  • Effectively able to communicate and deal with subcontractors
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MEP-related software
  • In-depth knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating (MEPH) systems on hospital projects
