Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Controls Engineer to support multiple departments and ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems, with experience in software design and development for control systems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary on offer is up to $50,000, plus a generous package including a 5% bonus, 6% Pension, flexible hours, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Train staff on PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and assist with customer demonstrations.
  2. Write control specification documents and maintain project documentation.
  3. Interpret electrical schematics and integrate hardware with HMIs.
  4. Design and develop software for control systems using various platforms.
  5. Optimize existing software and assist with recipe management and reporting.
  6. Modify and commission systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide customer training and support.
  7. Collaborate with team members on projects and assist with breakdowns as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Experience in software design and development for control systems.
  2. Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming.
  3. Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems.
