Designated Officer for Special Needs

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Designated Clinical Officer to join our team in West Essex. As a Designated Clinical Officer, you will play a key role in leading the development and delivery of SEND services, working closely with education, health, and social care professionals to ensure that all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities receive high-quality support and care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice and experience working in a leadership role. They will also have a deep understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.
We offer a competitive salary of £83,321 - £104,416 per annum and access to a range of benefits, including membership of My Reward Hub, online and face-to-face wellbeing support, and access to your wages as you earn them. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on the development and delivery of SEND services in West Essex.
- Providing strategic clinical leadership to support the development and implementation of effective strategies for supporting children with SEND.
- Working closely with education, health, and social care professionals to ensure that all children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities receive high-quality support and care.
