**Job Title:** Caregiver Assistant - Days

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents living in a care home setting. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to residents, including personal care, light domestic duties, and basic meal preparation.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £11.44 per hour for hours worked between 07:00 to 19:00, and £15.22 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00. We also offer a range of benefits, including online training at a subsidised fee and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering scheduled visits to perform standard tasks such as personal care, light domestic duties, and basic meal preparation
  • Administering medication as required, including prompted medication and assisted medicating
  • Working straight shifts with no travelling between sites or unpaid travel time

Requirements:

  • 2 years of professional referencing, including 1 from your most recent employer
  • In-date mandatory training certificates, including Practical moving and handling training
  • An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 4 months or registered on the update service
  • A minimum of 12 months paid UK work experience working within a care home or nursing home setting
