The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the family home, ensuring seamless events, and providing exceptional support to the Principals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and host events with Principals
  • Manage family diaries and arrange/rearrange appointments
  • Handle email correspondence on behalf of the family
  • Liaise with children's schools and keep Nannies informed
  • Arrange travel, including flights, transfers, and hotels
  • Liaise with staff at overseas properties
  • Run errands, such as buying gifts, booking restaurants, pet care, and trips
  • Keep Principals informed of household activities through effective organisation and meetings
  • Act as the single point of contact for Principals to staff
  • Manage a team of seven domestic staff, including reviews, payroll, holiday rotas, and absences
  • Work with household staff to ensure clear communication and expectations
  • Conduct regular spot checks for maintenance issues and report them
  • Liaise with contractors and source new service providers as needed
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the family home and liaise with management agents of tenanted properties in London
  • Update and maintain accurate inventories
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven private household PA experience, ideally within a high net worth environment. They will be adaptable to a busy household and accustomed to dealing with last-minute requests with a hands-on approach. The candidate will be calm under pressure, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be able to use their own initiative and be proactive in ensuring the daily household runs smoothly for the family. They will be a team player who can delegate as required, with strong communication skills and a personable, professional approach.

The candidate will be fully IT literate, with knowledge of the MS Office Suite. A driving license would be beneficial but is not essential.

What We Offer

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary package of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a discretionary annual bonus, pension contributions, and 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays).
