About the Role:

Linde Material Handling is one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. We operate in over 100 countries worldwide and have a global network of service technicians to ensure maximum availability of our trucks and solutions.

We are currently looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Newcastle area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, as well as undertaking preventative maintenance on our forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finding and diagnosing faults in forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Undertaking preventative maintenance on our equipment
  • Liaising with customers and internal colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Adapting to the changing needs of the role and our customers

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification (desirable)
  • IT literacy and ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
