Salary and Benefits

A competitive salary based on experience, ranging from £18,000 to £22,000 per annum. A long-term contract with the option of extending or as needed.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement personalized support plans for children with special educational needs.
  2. Provide individual and group support to children, fostering a positive learning environment.
  3. Assist in adapting activities to meet each child's unique needs, focusing on early years development goals.
  4. Support social and emotional development, promoting a sense of inclusion and well-being in the classroom.
  5. Monitor and document children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and SENCo team.
  6. Encourage positive behavior and help children build essential life skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  1. Experience working in an EYFS or Reception setting, particularly with children who have SEN.
  2. Understanding of the EYFS framework and commitment to early years education.
  3. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting young children with varying needs.
  4. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff.
