Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Membership Growth Strategist to join our team at MEMBERSHIP BESPOKE. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sustainable membership growth.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extending into a permanent position. The role involves leading the development of the annual plan for member recruitment activity, achieving membership volume and revenue targets, and securing large membership subscriptions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management roles within a membership organisation. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong relationship building and networking capabilities, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and Implementing Sales Strategies: Create proactive strategies to identify and acquire new members, develop targeted outreach and networking plans, and secure large membership subscriptions.
  • Membership Growth Planning: Develop the annual plan for member recruitment activity, achieve membership volume and revenue targets, and build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Nurturing Leads: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential members through targeted outreach and networking, and develop relationships with new business leads.
  • Representing the Organisation: Represent MEMBERSHIP BESPOKE as an exhibitor or delegate at industry events to generate new leads and promote the benefits of membership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management roles within a membership organisation.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve long-term, sustainable growth.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong relationship building and networking capabilities.
  • Candidate Profile: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions, develop and deliver compelling presentations, and negotiate effectively.
