We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at PWS Technical Services (UK) Ltd. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance on a wide range of heavy construction plant, crawler cranes, rigs, and various other machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance on heavy construction plant, crawler cranes, rigs, and other machinery and equipment.
- Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems, requiring a good understanding and practical experience in these areas.
- Produce, keep, and maintain reports, servicing records, and other paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate a fleet of company-owned plant and equipment, ensuring they are kept in a fit-for-purpose state at all times.
To be successful in this role, you will require a demonstrable track record of providing practical, hands-on expertise to a wide range of heavy construction plant and large construction machinery. A full UK driving license is also essential.
