Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our hotel bedrooms and corridors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Checks: Take pride in completing all room checks ensuring they have been cleaned to the hotel's standards.
  • Room Preparation: Clean rooms when necessary setting the standards for all housekeeping team.
  • Work Lists: Prepare room attendant's work lists.
  • Stock Management: Maintain correct stock levels in housekeeping stores and check that it is stored correctly.
  • Training and Development: Show enthusiasm in training housekeeping staff as required in duties and on equipment use.
  • Leadership: Take ownership and deputise in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and Deputy Head Housekeeper.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and report any faults to the Executive Head Housekeeper.
Requirements
  • Experience in supervising a team in a housekeeping environment desirable.
  • Previous luxury hospitality experience.
  • Passion for maintaining excellent standards and training team members to the same standards.
  • Confident in managing your team on a day to day basis.
  • A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude.
