Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Skillful Support: Provide skilled support to our nursery teams, utilizing your expertise to deliver top-quality care and education.
  2. Child Development: Foster child development through engaging activities, encouraging socialization, emotional growth, and cognitive development.
  3. Community Building: Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents, promoting a sense of belonging and community within the nursery.
  4. Nutrition and Hygiene: Ensure children receive nutritious meals and maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  5. Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest childcare best practices and research.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience working with young children and relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education, are highly desirable.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and engagement with children.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, covering different shifts and adapting to changing needs within the nursery, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Trust and Reliability: Willingness to undergo a DBS check, demonstrating your commitment to providing a safe and trustworthy environment for children.
