Job Summary

As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies, managing suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Select and negotiate with top suppliers to optimize performance and drive value.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Contract Management: Engage stakeholders and support project goals through effective contract management.
  • Compliance: Ensure ethical practices and risk management throughout the procurement process.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or category management.
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering is beneficial.
  • Experience in transport or subcontractor procurement is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to travel.
  • Valid UK driving license.
