Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Research Scientist to join our expert team at Life Science People. As a Biomedical Scientist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic laboratory testing services.

About the Role:

  • Perform complex diagnostic testing in accordance with national and international standards.
  • Cut-up and preparation of biological samples for histopathology analysis.
  • Immunohistochemistry expertise is highly desirable.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to interpret pathological data.
  • Utilise advanced technologies and methodologies to deliver precise results.
  • Maintain quality assurance protocols and adhere to laboratory safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field (HCPC registration required).
  • Proven experience in pathology diagnostics, preferably in histopathology.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems and modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
